Recently, the pile foundation work of the Indonesia Nitric Acid & Ammonium Nitrate Project, EPC-contracted by CNCEC-WUHUAN, has officially commenced. The project has therefore entered the physical construction stage, laying a solid foundation for subsequent civil construction, pipeline and equipment installation, as well as electrical and instrument installation works. At the commencement ceremony, the project owner spoke highly of WUHUAN’s professional competence, contractual spirit and efficient execution.
As WUHUAN’s 8th EPC contract project in the Indonesian market, this BBP Nitric Acid & Ammonium Nitrate Project is located in Surabaya, East Java Province. It plans to build a plant with a daily production capacity of 455 tons of nitric acid, 580 tons of liquid ammonium nitrate and 240 tons of solid ammonium nitrate, together with supporting utility systems, auxiliary facilities and off-site works.
During project execution, it will create a large number of local jobs, easing employment pressure and cultivating a group of local technical workers and management talents. Upon completion, the project will boost the development of relevant local industries and reduce Indonesia’s dependence on the import of ammonium nitrate products.
