Energy conservation and environmental protection responsibilities
This project adopts natural gas as a clean raw material to produce highly value-added synthetic ammonia and urea products, during which process it has always taken various environmental goals as its primary goal. Thanks to advanced process technologies, the unit product energy consumption and carbon emission have been reduced and met the leading international level. By setting up sewage treatment devices, all indicators of sewage discharge meet the requirements of the host country for proper use as agricultural water.
Fulfill social responsibilities
(1) The project has enabled recruitment of a large number of local workers, and such number reached about 1,500 at the peak of construction;
(2)A large number of local equipment and materials have been procured in this project, including 35,400 meters of engineering piles, 1,800 tons of steel structure, and 312 tons of non-standard equipment, etc., which have contributed to improving the local manufacturing level and alleviating employment pressure;
(3) During project implementation, the project team has actively participated in local community development. In the rainy season, they unclogged the community ditches for surrounding residents; they also repaired local mosques, participated in donation activities for local orphans, took part in business activities organized by the local government and non-governmental organizations, carried out basketball and singing competitions with local communities, prioritized employment of the unemployed in the surrounding areas, and organized recreational and sports activities for local employees, etc.
