Recently, the first batch of heavy equipment for the PUSRIIIIB Ammonia and Urea Project in Palembang, Indonesia has successfully berthed at the owner’s jetty and completed roro offloading smoothly. Among them, the ammonia synthesis converter was transported as an integrated unit with outer shell and internals, making it the heaviest single piece of equipment (5-30 tons) for this project.

The PUSRIIIIB Ammonia and Urea Project is a new project invested by PUSRI, a state-owned enterprise of Indonesia. Located in Palembang, southern Sumatra, Indonesia, the project has a daily capacity of 1,350- ton ammonia and 2,750-ton urea, with a construction period of 40 months. The scope of work under the contract includes project management, engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and performance testing completion.
This project is jointly implemented by a consortium formed between CNCEC-WUHUAN and the local Indonesian engineering company ADHI. As head of the consortium, WUHUAN is responsible for implementation of all process units and part of the utility systems. This project is the 6th EPC project undertaken by WUHUAN in Indonesia.
