WUHUAN Successfully Signed the EPC General Contract Cooperation Agreement for the First Large-scale Modern Nitrogenous Fertilizer Complex Project in Kazakhstan

On the afternoon of July 2, 2024 (local time), Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. (WUHUAN for short) participated in the seventh meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee held in Astana, Kazakhstan. During this meeting, a consortium was formed between WUHUAN and China National Chemical Engineering International Corporation Ltd. Under joint witness of Mr. Roman Sklyar, the First vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Mr. Qabibullah Kabenūly Jaqypov, chairman of the Samruk-Kazyna Trust, the consortium successfully concluded the EPC general contract agreement for the Nitrogenous Fertilizer Complex Project of KazAzot, Kazakhstan.

As the first large-scale modern nitrogenous fertilizer complex project in Kazakhstan, it will mainly produce synthetic ammonia, urea, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate after being put into operation. Chinese codes and standards as well as Chinese technologies and equipment are to be adopted therein. Upon its successful completion, this project stands to effectively fill in the fertilizer supply gap within Kazakhstan.
